There is no issue that cannot be resolved: Indian High Commissioner

Dhaka: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi has said that there is no issue between Bangladesh and India that cannot be resolved through discussions.
He made the remarks while speaking to reporters after a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday.
Speaking about his meeting with the Prime Minister, Dinesh Trivedi said he was very pleased to meet Tarique Rahman. He said it did not feel like it was their first meeting and described the discussion as very good.
Trivedi said both sides wanted to move forward and resolve outstanding issues through dialogue.
”We are looking forward. Our invitation is there in place. We are positive that if the two leaders meet together, there will be discussion. There will be issues in democracies. It’s not democracy if there is no issue. But there is only one people’s issue, which is good relations. It’s a win-win situation if there is a good relationship.”
