That is the question making the rounds in Tollywood, following reports in the Indian media that the popular Kolkata actor is planning to get married in the picturesque hill town of Kalimpong.
The 37-year-old actor’s alleged wedding preparations have reportedly already begun, with Hindustan Times claiming that invitations are being sent to close friends and associates.
But there is a catch: neither Mimi nor her reported prospective husband has confirmed the news.
According to the reports, the groom is not from the entertainment industry. He is reportedly an Indian Navy officer named Siddharth.
The latest speculation gained momentum after Mimi made a few seemingly suggestive remarks while responding to fans’ questions on social media. Those comments have since triggered renewed curiosity about her personal life.
However, a close aide of the actor reportedly said they had received no official information about the wedding, leaving the December date—and the marriage itself—unconfirmed.
Marriage rumours involving Mimi are not new. Similar speculation has surfaced several times in the past, but the latest reports have generated fresh interest because of the alleged venue, preparations and identity of the prospective groom.
Meanwhile, Mimi continues to remain busy with her professional commitments. She is currently involved in several projects, including Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film Emperor vs Sarat Chandra.
Whether the actor is actually preparing to begin a new chapter in her personal life remains unclear.
